For those Hipsters that have kids…you may want to sit them down in front of the TV (if you have one) to watch the Spongebob Squarepants Christmas Special tonight.
You’re going to have to have cable for this…it’s on Nickelodeon. Check your local listings for show times, but here on the east coast it’s 8:pm.
As you can see from the trailer, it’s stop-motion animation like those retro Christmas Specials from my childhood. It looks like it’s going to be a ‘classic’ as well.

CORRECTION: I have since heard, after the premiere airing…that this was the first Spongebob show to premier on a Network channel, not on Nickelodeon. (So I could have seen the premier after all.)
