Happy New Year! It’s 2013!
Wow…finally home from a long trip down to Florida to tour all the hippest spots. It’s great to be home.
On the way…I stopped at South Of The Boarder to pick-up some fireworks.
“Ah…nothing compares to the smell of cheap plastic novelty items. Pranks, gags, and gross-out toys as far as the eye can see!”

Ended up spending the night in a caboose in South Carolina….very hip.

While in Florida, was able to check out some very cool ‘wakeboarding’ at a cable park.
Love to try this, but I’d probably break a hip.
Went out on a canoe in Blue Springs State Park and spotted an alligator…
We were also followed by a manatee that seemed to want to come home with us…
Oh yeah..also went to the Dali Museum in St Petersburg. Very cool!

Did a bunch of other stuff as well, like Legoland for the hipster kids, and toured Savannah, Georgia…but this post is getting too long.

Top 10 Worst Christmas Songs Ever?
I’m one of those guys that thinks Christmas decorations should not be up before Thanksgiving. I believe in one Holiday at a time. (Unless your birthday falls on a holiday, like say…St Patrick’s Day…)
I also tend to get sick of hearing the same old Christmas songs over and over. That is the reason for my never ending search for Christmas music ‘that doesn’t suck’. The search is never ending because if I ‘over-play’ a limited few new songs…they will begin to suck as well.
In my search I have found some truly bad Christmas songs…so here’s a few. Don’t consider them as a gift.

Spongebob Squarepants Christmas Special premieres tonight!
For those Hipsters that have kids…you may want to sit them down in front of the TV (if you have one) to watch the Spongebob Squarepants Christmas Special tonight.
You’re going to have to have cable for this…it’s on Nickelodeon. Check your local listings for show times, but here on the east coast it’s 8:pm.
As you can see from the trailer, it’s stop-motion animation like those retro Christmas Specials from my childhood. It looks like it’s going to be a ‘classic’ as well.
The Aquabats! are now on Netflix.
